The club normally runs around 3 main trips a term, one of which will be a weekend trip (or week long trip in summer term). We also run a variety of smaller trips, which are aimed at more experienced riders. These may be uplift days aimed at downhillers, or XC rides without bike hire and requiring reasonable bike handling skills and a basic level of fitness. These will still be announced with a general email but tend to short notice. Also the club forum is used to plan rides if we just want to go somewhere one weekend (not an official club trip), so is well worth keeping an eye on.

Weekend trips tend to be to Wales, and the end of year trip to either the Lake District or Scotland. Some of our preferred venues for riding are Cannock Chase, the Peak District, Cwm Carn, Afan Argoed, and Chicksands. In the last year we have been on trips (official or unofficial) to Cannock, Hamsterly, Afan Argoed, Forest of Dean, Peak District, Chicksands, Wharncliffe, Rheola, Bryn Bach Park, Foel DH, Moelfre, Caersws, Innerleithen, Glentress, Ae, Fort William, Cwm Carn, Pen Yr Hoel farm, Bristol Bike Fest and the French/Swiss/Italian Alps.
